What the form collects
Your name, email, phone number, location, practice area, CV, chosen vacancy and any message you provide. We also record the time of submission and acknowledgement of this notice. A temporary hashed network identifier is used to limit abusive submissions.
How it is used
To review your experience, respond to your application and discuss appropriate recruitment opportunities. We rely on our legitimate interests in providing recruitment services and responding to your request. The form acknowledgement is not consent to marketing. We do not make automated hiring decisions through this website.
Who can access it
Recruitment submissions and CVs are stored in restricted website storage provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Access to the recruiter page is restricted. Employers receive a CV only after an introduction has been agreed with you. Service providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements.
Retention
We keep information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and manage an active recruitment relationship. Contact us to ask for deletion or to end contact about opportunities. Information needed for legal obligations or an existing recruitment engagement may be retained where applicable.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, and object to its use where applicable. Email Jacob with your request and application reference if available. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Job alerts
Job alerts collect your email address, phone number and selected role and area preferences, plus confirmation and delivery records. We use your consent to send matching vacancies by email and to call about relevant roles. We do not send text messages. Lawsearch receives a notification containing your email, phone number and alert preferences when you request an alert. Confirm your email to enable alerts and unsubscribe using any alert email. Your information is not shared with employers through an alert signup. Our email provider, Resend, processes email delivery. Unsubscribing removes this subscription and its delivery records; unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days.
Cookies and application safety
This website does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies required for their operation. Please do not upload identity documents, health information or other sensitive material unrelated to your CV. If you prefer, contact Lawsearch directly instead of using the form.
